Role
Your Role must have the Manage product Permissions.
Scope
To modify a Product, you must have one of the above Roles within all of the Branches the Product is
"Available for sale" in. i.e. If you want to modify a Product "Available for sale" in Branch A, B and C, but you only have a Role in Branch A and B, you will not be able to modify the Product.
Rules
A Product's country can not be modified.

Use case
Products are added to the Catalogue to enable Staff members to make a point-of-sale Transaction for the Product within the Branch(es) the Product is made "Available for sale" in. The Product can be assigned different prices within each Branch or Branch group.
Navigation
Products can be viewed at Organisation level and Branch level.
Products are modified at Organisation level only:
Organisation level
To modify a Product at Organisation level:
Navigate to Organisation level (light coloured menu)
Click on Management
Select Catalogue
All Products that are "Available for sale" in Branches within your Role's Scope are listed:
Branch level
To view a Product at Branch level:
Navigate to Branch level (dark coloured menu)
Select a Branch (optional)
Click on Management
Select Catalogue
All Products that are "Available for sale" in the selected Branch are listed:
Modify a product
To modify a Product's name, description, GST percentage price or availability:

Modify the name for the Product (optional) This is the name that will be applied to the Product within the Catalogue. Note: The Product name must not exceed 80 characters. |

To modify a Product's price option:

Modify the regular retail price for the Product (optional) Note: You can also add additional prices for the Product. |

Modify which Branch(es) and/or Branch group(s) the Product will be "Available for sale" in, and the specified price (optional) Note: You are only offered Branches within the country selected for the Product. e.g. If a Product is created with Australia selected for the country, only Australian Branches will be displayed in the drop-down box. Branch groups that contain Branches from multiple countries will be displayed with a warning symbol At least one Branch or Branch group must be selected. You may select multiple Branches and/or Branch group(s). Branches are displayed in blue To remove a Branch or Branch group from your selection, click X to the right of the Branch or Branch group

Click Add price option to add different prices for other Branches and/or Branch groups (optional) A new row will appear, allowing you to set a different price and specify which Branch(es) and/or Branch group(s) should display the differing price: Note: You can add as many price options as you require. The lowest and highest prices are displayed in the Product catalogue: If there are any conflicting Product prices for the same Branch, the lowest price is displayed at the Shopfront (point-of-sale): In the above example, the Branch group "Melbourne branches" (with a price of $50.00) contains the Branch "St Kilda" as well as "St Kilda" Branch being set a price of $45.00, therefore, St Kilda will display the lower price of $45.00 for the Product at the Shopfront (point-of-sale). To remove additional prices from your selection, click X to the left of Remove: |
