Duplicate a payment option

Prerequisites

Role

Your Role must have the "Manage membership plan" or the "View membership plan" Permission to access the Payment options within each Membership plan.
Preset Roles that have this Permission are:

• Admin
• Master franchiser
• Franchisee
• Branch manager

Your Role must have the "Manage payment option" Permission to duplicate Payment options.
Preset Roles that have this Permission are:

• Admin
• Master franchiser
• Franchisee
• Branch manager

 

Scope

To duplicate a Payment option, you must have one of the above Roles within all of the Branches the Payment option you wish to duplicate is "Available for sale" in. i.e. If you want to duplicate a Payment option that is "Available for sale" in Branch A, B and C, but you only have an Admin, Master franchiser, Franchisee or Branch Manager Role in Branch A and B, you will not be able to duplicate the Payment option.

 

Rules

If you have the correct Permissions to duplicate a Payment option there are some rules to note:

Payment options that display the  Tag:

• can be modified
• can be Archived
• are not "Available for sale" until Published

Payment options that display the  Tag:

• can be modified
• can be duplicated
• can be Archived
• are "Available for sale" until Archived

Payment options that display the  Tag:

• cannot be modified
• can be duplicated
• are not "Available for sale"
• cannot be re-published

Use case

Duplicating a Payment option enables you to add another Payment option based on the details of an existing Payment option. All fields within the duplicated Payment option can be altered.

Note: Duplicated Payment options copy all of the settings in the Payment option you duplicated.
Duplicating a Payment option enables you to edit any field within the duplicated Payment option.

 

Navigation

Payment options are duplicated at Organisation level:

Organisation level

To duplicate a Payment option:
Navigate to Organisation level (light coloured menu)
Click on Management

Select Membership plans

All Membership plans that are "Available for" Branches within your Role's Scope are listed:

 

Duplicate a payment option

and  Payment option can be duplicated.

To duplicate a Payment option:

		Select the Membership plan that contains the Payment option you want to duplicate
		Click on the three vertical dots (on the right-hand side of each Payment option)
		Select Duplicate
		Make the changes you require Note: All fields are pre-populated with the settings from the duplicated Payment option. All fields can be edited.
		Click Save
		A new Payment option will be created with a  Tag

 

Publish a payment option

When you first duplicate a Payment option, it will display the  Tag
Payment options can not be used until they display the  Tag

To publish a Payment option:

		Select the Membership plan that contains the Payment option you want to Publish
		Click on the three vertical dots  (on the right-hand side of each Payment option)
		Select Publish
		The Payment option will display the  Tag showing it can now be used
