Prerequisites
Role
Your Role must have the "Manage membership plan" or the "View membership plan" Permission to access the Payment options within each Membership plan.
Preset Roles that have this Permission are:
- Admin
- Master franchiser
- Franchisee
- Branch manager
Your Role must have the "Manage payment option" Permission to modify Payment options.
Preset Roles that have this Permission are:
- Admin
- Master franchiser
- Franchisee
- Branch manager
Scope
To modify a Payment option, you must have one of the above Roles within all of the Branches the Payment option is "Available for sale" in. i.e. If you want to modify a Payment option that is "Available for sale" in Branch A, B, and C, but you only have an Admin, Master franchiser, Franchisee or Branch Manager Role in Branch A and B, you will not be able to modify the Payment option.
Rules
If you have the correct Permissions to modify a Payment option there are some rules to note:
Payment options that display the Tag:
- can be modified
- can be Archived
- are not "Available for sale" until Published
Payment options that display the Tag:
- can be modified
- can be duplicated
- can be Archived
- are "Available for sale" until Archived
Payment options that display the Tag:
- cannot be modified
- can be duplicated
- are not "Available for sale"
- cannot be re-published

Use case
Modifying a Payment option enables you to alter or correct the details of an existing Payment option. All fields within the Payment option can be altered. You may modify a Payment option to change:
- the Branches that offer the Payment option
- the price
- the Promotion price/duration
- the dates the Payment option is available for sale
- whether the Payment option is Available online
Note: If a Member has begun signing up for a Membership using the original (prior to being modified) Payment option settings, and has not yet completed the sign-up process, the original Payment option settings are used within a 24 hour period of the changes being made.
Changing a Payment option has no effect on any existing Memberships.
Navigation
Payment options are modified at Organisation level:
Organisation level
To modify a Payment option:
Navigate to Organisation level (Light coloured menu)
Click on Management
Select Membership plans
All Membership plans that are "Available for" Branches within your Role's Scope are listed:
Modify a payment option
and Payment options can be edited.
To edit a Payment option:

Select the Membership plan that contains the Payment option you want to edit |

Click on the three vertical dots (on the right-hand side of each Payment option) |

Select Edit |

Make the changes you require Note: All fields in a Payment option can be edited. |

Click Save |
