Prerequisites
Role
Your Role must have the Manage membership Permission.
Scope
You must have a Role within the Branch you wish to remove a Membership.
Rules
Active Membership can be removed at any stage.
Memberships displaying DDR approved can be removed prior to the Membership Start date only.

Note: If a Membership displays and the Membership Start date has already elapsed, the Direct Debit Request (DDR) can only be removed via the Billing company. Once the Billing company has removed the Direct Debit Request (DDR) the Membership will automatically expire in Clubware within the next 24 hours.
- Memberships displaying never started, therefore, do not need to be removed
- Memberships displaying must be un-suspended before they can be removed
- Memberships removed by the Billing company will display
- Memberships removed by Staff members will display

Use case
Remove a Membership if you want to:
- Prevent a Member from accessing the gym
- Cancel a Membership for a Member
Navigation
Memberships can be removed at Branch level only:
Branch level
To remove a Membership:
Navigate to Branch level (dark coloured menu)
Select a Branch (optional)
Click on Members
Remove a membership
To remove an existing membership:

Select a member from the Members list |

Select Memberships (above the member profile) |

Select the Membership you wish to remove |

Click on the three vertical dots (top right-hand side) Note: Please check with your Billing company if the End option is not available. |

To set the End date, select the Billing cycle date on (or the nearest after) the date you want the Membership to end Note: Billing memberships must start on a billing date and end on a billing date. |

Select the Cancellation reason |

Click End |
