This article guides you through the process of removing a Staff member's Access card number (or FOB number).
The article is divided into the following eight topics:
Your Role must have the Manage staff member Permission.
Preset Roles that have this Permission are:
- Master Franchiser
- Branch Manager
To remove a Staff member's Access card, you must have one of the above Roles within all of the Branches the Staff member has a Role in. i.e. If a Staff member has a Role in Branch A, B and C, but you only have an Admin, Master Franchiser, Franchisee, or Branch Manager Role in Branch A and B, you will not be able to remove the Staff member's Access card.
Gyms that use Access control systems to manage their doors, would allocate an Access card (or FOB) to each Staff member. Each Staff member will also be granted an Access level specifying which times and which doors they can use.
Clubware can be configured to interact with the Access control system enabling you to add a Staff member's Access card number (or FOB number) directly into Clubware. Once an Access card number has been allocated to a Staff member, their Access level is controlled by Permission groups within the Access control system based on the Branches the Staff member's Roles grant them.
The Permission groups give Staff members 24/7 access to the gym by default.
Access card numbers can be removed at both Organisation level and Branch level:
To remove a Staff member's Access card at Organisation level:
Navigate to Organisation level (grey menu)
Click on Staff
To remove a Staff member's Access card at Branch level:
Navigate to Branch level (blue menu)
Select a Branch (optional)
Click on Staff
Modify a staff member's access card
Note: Staff members are given 24/7 access to the gym by default.
If you are providing free gym Membership to your Staff members, you will remove their Access card number against their Member Access card rather than their Staff member Access card.

Select the Staff member from the Staff member list
Click Remove in the Access card panel (bottom right-hand side)
