Prerequisites
Role
Your Role must have the "Manage Organsiation Settings" Permission.
Preset Roles that have this Permission are:
- Admin
Scope
To add an age restriction or warning, you must have the above Role at an Organisation level.

Use case
Age restrictions allow you to control who can use the Member Website to start their join journey.
An age restriction is where you set:
- the age of members who are restricted from joining online
- the age of members who are warned they have to supply further information from a guarantor.
Navigation
Age Restrictions can only be added at an Organisation level.
Members must sign up on line to see the notifications.
Members who are subject to an age restriction and sign up in club will not receive the notifications when they complete the online sign up process. Clubware assumes the additional information has been supplied.
Organisation level
To add an age restriction for member website joiners at Organisation level:
Navigate to Organisation level (light coloured menu)
Click on Organisation
Add an age restriction
To add an age restriction for member website sign ups:

Select Member Website from the Organisation Settings.

Click Edit from the Member website settings panel

Update your preferences for the Member website settings.
Note: Text within {{double brackets}} are data fields that will be replaced by the Member's information when the Automated SMS correspondence is sent to them. Use the check box to turn the setting on.
Use the drop down to select the age the restriction applies from. |

Click Save

How members see the warnings:

The member begins the sign up journey using the member website.
|

|
If the Member's age is under the Restrict Sign up age, they will receive the following message and the Next option will by greyed out.
|

|
If the Member's age is over the Restrict Sign up age and below the warning age, they will receive the following message and the Next option will allow them to complete the join journey.
