Overview
This article guides you through the process of connecting Clubware to Paxton's NET2 Access control Software (ACS)

Prerequisites
Role
Your Role must have the "Manage membership plan" or the "View membership plan" Permission to access the Payment options within each Membership plan.
Preset Roles that have this Permission are:
- Admin
- Master franchiser
- Franchisee
- Branch manager
You must have System Engineer or Supervisor access to Paxton NET2.
Use case
Access control Software (ACS) is used to provide gym Members access to the gym via an Access card or key FOB. NET2 is one of several ACSs that Clubware can be integrated with.
Before Clubware can establish a connection with Paxton's NET2 ACS, both Clubware and NET2 Access levels must be configured correctly.
Terminology
The following is a list of key objects used to communicate Access levels between Clubware and Paxton’s NET2 ACS, and the different naming conventions in each software:
Each Branch in Clubware will have its own installation on NET2.

* The department Members should be added into the Users Menu in NET2 by the NET2 installer.
Configure branches
Clubware Branches correspond to Paxton NET2. There must be a Paxton Access Control Server installed at each branch.

Configure users in Paxton
To map Paxton Users to Clubware Members, a new department must be added into the User menu:

Open the Paxton NET2 Access Control. |

Right click on the Users menu and select Add new department. |

Enter the Departments name and click Add. Select OK at the bottom to close the window. |

The new department is now ready for members. Clubware will control the Access Levels assigned to the members of this department. |
Configure Access Levels
Clubware Members correspond to Access Levels in Paxton. Below are an example of these.

In NET2 the Access levels require the entry zones/doors to be added. The entry zone/doors require time zones to be added to complete the set up.
For Multi Branch Sites
Each Membership plan contains an Access type:
This access group allows access to members of all clubs that have the same Access Type.
Configure staff members
Staff members should be added as Users in NET2.
Map staff members to permission groups
Clubware members will be allocated appropriate Permission Groups based on their Membership.
Staff members however do not use Memberships, therefore the should be added as Users in NET2.
