Use case
The Non-attendance Report enables you to identify Members that have a gym Membership but for some reason have not been attending the gym. Gym managers can utilise this Report to encourage Members back into the gym.
There are 3 reasons a member will appear in the Non-attendance report:
- The member last visited the gym between the Attended prior to and Has not attended since date and has not visited since
- The member came off suspension between the Attended prior to and Has not attended since date and has not visited since
- The member joined the gym between the Attended prior to and Has not attended since date and has not visited since
The report requires two dates to be set:
Non-attendance date range
The Has not attended since date and Today's date sets the date range of non-attendance.
Members that have not visited the gym between the Has not attended since date and Today's date will potentially be included in the report.
Last visited date range
The Attended prior to date and Has not attended since date sets the date range when a member last visited.
This enables you to omit members that have not visited for a while.
Only members that last attended between the Attended prior to date and Has not attended since date will be included in the report.
i.e. it omits from your report, members that had a last visit date prior to the Attended prior to date.
Note: The date a member comes off suspension or joins the gym is treated as a last visit date. Therefore, Members that came off suspension or joined the gym between the Attended prior to and Has not attended since date (and have not visited the gym since), will be included in the report.
Why two dates?
The Attended prior to date and Has not attended since date allows you to omit members that have not visited in a long time.
The Attended prior to date and Has not attended since date can also be used to tier the type of correspondence sent to a member.
Members that have been absent from the gym for a longer period of time, may require different correspondence compared to members that have been absent for a short period of time. By running the report twice with a different Attended prior to date and Has not attended since date, gives you two reports with differing times since their last visit.
Example 1
To display members who have not visited the gym within the last 2-3 weeks:
- Set the Attended prior to date to 3 weeks before Today's date
- Set the Has not attended since date to 2 weeks before Today's date
Example 2
To display members who have not visited the gym within the last 1-2 weeks:
- Set the Attended prior to date to 2 weeks before Today's date
- Set the Has not attended since date to 1 week before Today's date
Example 3
To display members who have not visited the gym within the last 1-3 weeks:
- Set the Attended prior to date to 3 weeks before Today's date
- Set the Has not attended since date to 1 week before Today's date
