Overview

This article describes the attributes of a Visit.

What is a visit

A Visit represents the number of times a Member Visits the gym for a workout or Class. A timestamp is created when they first use their Access card or FOB to enter the gym.

Unlike Arrivals, if a Member re-enters the gym within 90 minutes of their first Visit, the subsequent Visits are not recorded. This is to provide Visit accuracy by not counting re-entries. If a Member swipes into the gym after 90 minutes of their first Visit, another Visit will be recorded, thus starting another 90 minutes of non-counted re-entries.

Visits play an integral role in identifying how often a Member is going to a specific Branch for a workout. Therefore, Visit data is used in Clubware to create:

• Bulk transfer lists
• Contact tracing reports
• Member visit reports
• High usage reports
• Non-attendance reports

Note: If a Member Visits another Branch more often than their Home branch, their Visits (not Arrivals) are used to suggest a Branch Transfer.

Navigation

Visits are logged within the Member's Past Activities section which is viewed at Branch level only:

To view Past activities:
Navigate to Branch view (dark coloured menu)
Select a Branch (optional)

Click on Members

Select a Member

Click on Activities

Select Past Activities

All Visits are listed under Past activities, with the most recent at the top:

 

Activity details

Visits, attended Classes and Branch Transfers are displayed under each Member's past Activities:

Each Visit contains the following information:

• the Activity - a Visit
• the date of the Visit
• the time of the Visit
• the Branch the Member visited
• Tags to indicate further information related to the Visit

 

Activity

Multiple Activities are recorded under Past activities in chronological order.
Visits display Visit as the Activity.

 

Date

The date the Member Visited the gym.

 

Time

The time the Member first swiped their Access card to Visit the gym (or a Manual visit was logged).

 

Branch

The Branch the Member Visited.

 

Tags

Activity Tags indicate one of three conditions:

	-	No-tag indicates the Activity has no further information
		Manual visit indicates the Arrival was manually entered by a Staff member rather than an Access card or FOB being used at entry.
		Manual transfer indicates the Member's Home branch was Transferred from one Branch to another due to them Visiting the other Branch more often than their Home branch.
