This article guides you through the process of removing a Member's access to the gym removing their Membership.

Prerequisites
Note: It is not possible to remove a Member from Clubware entirely. You can either:

Remove a Member's Access card - to temporarily remove the Member's access to the gym, or
-
Remove a Member's Membership - the Member will become a Prospect again.
Role
Your Role must have the Manage member Permission.
Scope
You must have a Role within the Branch the Member "Belongs to".
Your billing company must accept cancellations from Clubware.
Rules
Members are modified within their Home branch only (where they "Belong to")

Use case
There are several reasons you would remove a Member's access to the gym:

The Member has left the gym permanently

The Member is duplicated in another Branch

The Member has breached their terms and conditions

The Member has failed to pay for their Membership for some time
Navigation
Members are removed at Branch level:
Branch level
To remove a Member:
Navigate to Branch level (dark coloured menu)
Select a Branch (optional)
Click on Members
Remove a member's membership
To remove a Membership:

Select a Member from the Member list |

Select Memberships (top of the screen) |

Select the Membership you wish to remove |
||

Click on the three vertical dots (top right-hand side of the Membership panel) |

Select End |
||

Enter the date you want the Membership to end Note: When ending a direct debit Membership (depending on your Billing company) you may be supplied a list of billing dates. In this scenario, the Membership must end on a billing cycle date. |

Enter a Cancellation reason Select from the list provided |

Click End |

The Membership will now display the end date you specified. Note: If the Member has multiple Memberships, you will need to repeat the above steps for each active Membership. The Member will return to a Prospect once all Memberships have reached their end date. |
